Yityish Aynaw, the first black Miss Israel, was a last minute invite to the State Dinner held for President Obama during his visit to Israel. The White House specifically requested that she be added to invitation list for the event. Aynaw has said that Mr. Obama was a huge inspiration to her when he won the presidency, being as he is the first African-American to be elected to the White House.
